Overview

SUMO Protease (ULP1) is a site-specific protease used to remove SUMO fusion tags from recombinant proteins. It cleaves after the C-terminal glycine at the end of the SUMO sequence, enabling tag removal that can yield the native target sequence without additional amino acids when the fusion is designed at the SUMO C-terminus.
